How we work
The work behind a well-planned finish
Great paint is the easy part. What makes a finish last is everything that happens before and around it — protection, preparation, the right coating, and a real inspection at the end. Here's how the work is actually done on site.
Our method
Four things that decide the result

Protection comes first
Before a single surface is touched, floors, furniture, landscaping, and fixtures are covered and masked, so the work stays contained and your home stays clean.

Prep decides the finish
Cleaning, repair, caulking, and priming are where a lasting finish is won or lost. This is the step that decides whether paint lasts four years or twelve, so it gets the time it deserves.

The right system for each surface
The coating is matched to the surface and its exposure — a sun-beaten south wall, a high-traffic wall, a kitchen cabinet — and applied to the manufacturer's spec.

Finished to a standard
Every project is inspected against SnowPeak's documented standards before it's called done, with touch-ups handled on the spot and the site left clean.
Step by step
How it's done, surface by surface
- 1
Your property is protected
Before anything else, your landscaping, windows, walkways, and lighting are covered, so your yard and home stay clean and undisturbed while we work.
- 2
Power washing
A new coat only lasts if it bonds, and it can't bond to dirt. We wash away years of chalk, mildew, and grime to give your finish a clean surface to grip.
- 3
Prep, where the job is really won
This is the step that decides whether your paint lasts 4 years or 12. We scrape and sand failing areas, repair damaged wood, re-caulk seams, and prime bare surfaces, so the weather has nothing to get behind.
- 4
Painting
Coatings chosen for Colorado conditions go on with even, complete coverage built for intense UV, seasonal moisture, and freeze-thaw while giving your home sharp, lasting curb appeal.
- 5
Daily cleanup
You get your home back clean every evening, not just at the end. We keep the site tidy throughout and remove all masking and protection once the work is complete.
- 6
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished exterior with you and complete any agreed touch-ups on the spot before we close out the project, with every project backed by our 2-Year Workmanship Warranty.
- End of the Exterior process.
