Exterior Painting Built for the Colorado Climate
Front Range homes take a beating from UV, hail, wind and freeze-thaw cycles. We prep and coat your exterior to stand up to all of it, and to lift your curb appeal the day it is done.
What's included
- Pressure washing to remove chalking, dirt and mildew
- Color consultation to help you choose colors with confidence
- Scraping and sanding of failed and peeling areas
- Replacement of failed caulk at seams, trim and penetrations
- Minor wood rot, trim, fascia and soffit repair, when needed for a paint-ready surface
- Priming of bare wood, repairs and stained areas
- Premium UV-rated exterior coatings, applied to spec
- Protection of landscaping, windows, walkways and fixtures
- A final look around the home with you before we call it finished
At altitude, the Colorado sun is brutal on exterior paint. South- and west-facing walls fade, fascia cracks, and caulk lines fail years before they would at sea level. A quality exterior job here lives or dies on the prep, and that is where we are relentless.
We pressure wash, scrape, sand, replace failed caulk, and prime bare or repaired surfaces before applying premium exterior coatings rated for high-UV, high-altitude conditions. The result protects your single biggest investment and looks sharp from the curb for years.
We paint and stain a wide range of exterior surfaces, including fiber cement siding (James Hardie), engineered wood siding (LP SmartSide), vinyl, cedar and composite siding, plus stucco, masonry, brick, trim, shutters, garage and front doors, and decks and fences.
Our process
How we handle your exterior project
- 1
Free on-site estimate & color consult
Day 1We walk every elevation in person, talk through colors and surfaces, and send a clear written scope and price. No vague numbers.
- 2
Wash & surface prep
We pressure wash the whole exterior to strip chalking, dirt and mildew so the coating bonds to a clean, sound surface.
- 3
Scrape, sand & repair
We scrape and sand failed areas, replace failed caulk at seams and trim, and handle minor wood, fascia and soffit repair for a paint-ready surface.
- 4
Prime bare & repaired areas
Bare wood, repairs and stained spots get spot-primed so the topcoat adheres and lasts, not just covers.
- 5
Premium UV-rated coating
Two coats of climate-rated exterior coating on body, trim and accents, applied to manufacturer spec for the Colorado sun.
- 6
Daily cleanup & final walkthrough
We protect landscaping and clean the site every day, then walk the finished home with you and back the work with a written workmanship warranty.
- End of the Exterior Painting process.
Why it lasts
Good exterior work is mostly preparation
- Clean, sound surfaces before any paint, so the coating actually bonds
- Repairs and patching handled first, not painted over
- Primed where it counts so the finish holds and lasts
- Your home protected and the site left clean every day

FAQ
Exterior Painting questions
What is the best time of year to paint a home exterior in Colorado?
Late spring through early fall is ideal, when daytime temperatures are reliably above the paint's minimum and overnight lows are not freezing. We monitor the forecast closely and schedule around weather windows to protect the finish.
How long should an exterior paint job last here?
With proper prep and premium coatings, a quality exterior job on the Front Range typically lasts roughly 7–12 years depending on exposure, substrate and color. High-UV south and west walls always weather fastest.
Do you handle minor wood repair before painting?
Yes, as part of an exterior painting project. We repair minor wood rot, trim, fascia and soffits to create a sound, paint-ready surface. We are a painting company, not a carpentry or handyman service, so anything beyond minor paint-related repair, like structural work or full siding or board replacement, we refer to the right licensed trade.
