A quiet, sunlit kitchen with a factory-smooth cabinet finish

The kitchen you’ll love walking into every morning.

Why it lasts

The details behind a finish that holds up.

See the difference
01

A smooth, sprayed finish

Sprayed, sanded between coats, and cured hard, the result lays out smooth and even. No brush marks, no roller texture.

02

Long-lasting durability

Degreasing, sanding, and a high-bond primer are what stop the chips, peels, and wear that cut cheaper cabinet jobs short.

03

A kitchen that looks new

Same layout, same quality boxes, a completely different room. It's the single highest-impact change most kitchens can get.

04

Minimal disruption

Days, not weeks. You keep your cabinets and most of your daily routine while your kitchen is transformed around you.

The finish

Looks factory finished. Feels custom built.

Doors come off, get sanded, and are sprayed off the frame, so the enamel lays down flat and even — the way a new cabinet looks, without the brush lines you feel every time you open a door.

FAQ

Cabinet questions, answered.

Is it cheaper to paint cabinets than replace them?

In almost every case, yes, and usually by a wide margin. Cabinet refinishing typically costs a fraction of new cabinetry because you keep the boxes you already have and skip demolition, disposal, and weeks of installation. If your cabinet boxes are structurally sound, painting them gets you most of the visual impact of a new kitchen for a small share of the price.

How much does cabinet painting cost?

Your price depends mostly on the number of doors and drawers, the current finish, the color you choose, and whether you want the wood grain filled for a fully smooth look. There's no guessing on our end: we count every door and drawer at the walkthrough and hand you a clear, written estimate, so you know the full investment before any work begins.

How durable is a painted cabinet finish?

Done properly, a painted cabinet finish is built to take years of daily use. The durability comes from the prep underneath: degreasing, scuff sanding, and a high-bond bonding primer, finished with a hard cabinet-grade topcoat. That combination resists chipping and peeling and wipes clean with a damp cloth. A finish that lasts always traces back to careful preparation, which is exactly the step we take our time on.

What's the difference between cabinet painting, refinishing, and refacing?

Cabinet painting and cabinet refinishing describe the same service: we clean, prep, prime, and apply a new durable finish to your existing cabinets. Refacing is different, it replaces the doors and drawer fronts and covers the boxes with new veneer, which costs far more. For most kitchens with solid boxes, refinishing delivers the fresh, modern look you're after without the bigger price tag.

Can you paint cabinets without removing the doors?

For a finish that looks professionally sprayed, we remove and label every door and drawer, finish them in a controlled setting, and reinstall them precisely. That's what gives you an even, smooth result, crisp and free of drips or brush marks. Taking the doors off is a little more work, and it's what makes the difference you can see.

What color and sheen look best on cabinets?

Crisp whites, soft greys, and warm greige are the most popular and the most timeless, and a two-tone look with a contrasting island is a close runner-up. For sheen, we usually recommend a satin or semi-gloss cabinet-grade finish: it cleans easily and stands up to fingerprints and splatters. If your project calls for color guidance, we'll help you land on a choice you'll still love in ten years.

Can I use my kitchen during the project?

For the most part, yes. Your doors and drawers come off to be finished, but the kitchen itself stays usable for everyday life through most of the project. There's a short window while the cabinet boxes are being coated when we'll ask you to stay clear, and we'll tell you exactly when that is so you can plan around it.

Let's make your kitchen feel new again.

Clear from the start, beautiful in the end — a written estimate and a calm, well-run project from the first call to the final walkthrough.
