Warranty

Built to last. Backed in writing.

A warranty protects your project.
A Finish Record protects your home's history.

Careful surface preparation before any coating goes on

Where it begins

A warranty starts with preparation.

Most paint failures begin long before the paint does — in the washing, scraping, caulking, and priming, and in whether the coating system was right for the surface.

That is why our warranty begins with preparation, not paperwork. We can stand behind the finish because of the work underneath it.

Two layers of protection

Your labor, and your materials.

SnowPeak Workmanship Warranty

Every qualifying SnowPeak project is backed by our 2-Year Workmanship Warranty. If something isn't right because of our workmanship within the warranty period, we come back and make it right — labor included.

Sherwin-Williams Manufacturer Limited Warranty

Separate from our workmanship warranty, your Sherwin-Williams coating may include a manufacturer Limited Warranty for qualifying product-performance issues. Coverage varies by product; labor is not included under the manufacturer's warranty.

What's covered

Our workmanship, for two years.

  • Peeling or blistering caused by our workmanship
  • Coating failure from our preparation or application
  • Return visits and touch-ups within the period — labor included
  • Coverage written and itemized with your project

What's not covered

The things outside our control.

  • Hail, storms, and impact damage
  • Structural movement and settling
  • Moisture intrusion from leaks or drainage
  • Customer-supplied paint
  • Normal wear over time

We'd rather be clear about this up front than defensive about it later. Your exact coverage and exclusions are in writing with your project.

Built for Colorado

A finish planned for this climate.

High-altitude UV, snow, freeze-thaw swings, wide temperature changes, and moisture are hard on a finish. That is exactly why preparation matters here — and why the work behind the warranty is the part that lasts.
